North Perth Community Garden is a welcoming community run garden that offers a variety of gardening and social activities for its members. The garden spans across 820 square meters and features almost 40 individual plots that members can rent to grow their preferred plants. Additionally, members can choose to participate in the communal garden and share the harvest with others. North Perth Community Garden members can enjoy social activities like Sunday afternoon hangouts, quiet moments of relaxation, and creative projects like building structures or making art. They can also contribute to bigger projects like installing shade sails, cleaning the frog pond, and covering the fruit trees during busy bees. Social events like garden grown feasts, movie nights, and trivia nights are also part of the community's activities. Moreover, the garden hosts regular workshops on various topics like worm farming, pruning, and fermenting, allowing members to learn new skills. The community garden seeks to innovate in a garden atmosphere while maintaining established gardening practices.
